Dear Amrit, Amanda, Peter, Mindy,...
We very much appreciate your assistance with the development and maintenance
of HDice equipment. While of course all of it has to be functioning in order
to mount a polarized HD target in beam, the polarization process utilizes
equipment in a specific time sequence and that creates a priority ordering
for the outstanding tasks. I can summarize these as follows:
1) bring the first NMR rack and all its associated software to a fully
functioning state;
2) replace the Real-Time controller on the IBC pump cart and test the new
one (which involves the creation of the wiring diagram, etc.);
3) rebuild the second NMR rack to create a functioning duplicate of the
first rack.
I wanted to make sure that the ordering is clear in everyone's mind so that
you can efficiently plan out the DSG activities.
Thank you for your continued support.
Andy Sandorfi
