Amanda, 

As we talked this morning, the NMR program is still running (for 2000 cycles if uninterpreted), but you can stop it whenever you need to work on the hardware or software. 

Today I saw two issues about the NMR rack: First, the noise level increased about 1 to 2 order of magnitude as we talked this morning. Second, each cycle finished at 0.0399T, not 0.0400T, where the table asked (0.0250T+0.0300T/2). I'm a little bit worried about the sudden noise increase because I couldn't understand why we didn't see it before. Improper grounding can explain the baseline drifting, but not the noise. 

Would you please take a look at the program to address both issues? 

I'll be in HDice lab this afternoon.

Amanda, 

Two NMR runs were performed after w talked on Friday. The same table were used. The NMR VI crashed on trace #16 and #17 in condition 4 of run 1 and 2, respectively. The RF box display VI is still running. Please take a look.

Amanda, 

The display on RF distribution box failed again when I testing the new NMR rack yesterday. The display worked at the beginning for an hour, then started to display random vowels in English and Germany, and finally it turned all white. I tried to touch computer cables to fix the problem but failed. Please help me to fix it. 

I'm still testing the program in the dame time.

Hi, 

Xiangdong, Mike, Pete, Amrit, and I met today to discuss the steps needed to work on the pump cart. According to Mike, power-cycling the cart and the work performed should not affect the pumps; however, the DSG will attempt to document as much of the pump cart wiring as possible. Before work can begin, an HBList must be written. Xiangdong and Mike will meet with Marc on Monday to write the HBList for the pump cart.
