Hi Xiangdong,

 Thanks for the feedback.

I'll have to take a closer look at the two equations and the fsNMR program to see what needs to be done to implement the two new equations.

Tyler

Hi Tyler,

The attached pdf file is the summary of testing the new version of fsNMR program and its reviewer. Please take a look,

Thanks,

Xiangdong

Good morning Tyler,

Thank you very much for fast responding on my request for modifying the fsNMR program, I really appreciate it. I'm going to run some some quick tests and go through the readback program now, and then move the rack to cold PD.

Best,

Xiangdong

Hello Xiangdong,

As we talked about in last week's HDice meeting, I took a look at the fsNMR program to debug a few things and also develop a way to review the data and create a new file containing averaged results for only cycles selected in the review.

For the debugging, I found and removed the cause of the phase plot's average not plotting in red. To further ensure the plots are the right color, I put in controls to force the color of the averaged data to white. I also debugged the raw data not being saved when scaling to the background. After debugging and in my tests, the program correctly saved both the raw and scaled data. Additionally, I put in logic to not create the scaled data results directory if the background is not used to maybe avoid some confusion in the settings used for each run.

Attached is a PDF containing the procedure to run the new data review program.

In brief, the data review program allows you to select which results to review and plots all cycles' R, phase, X, and Y along with the calculated average for each set of data. On the left of the front panel, there is a checklist that allows you to select/deselect cycle data to plot and include in the average. When you select/deselect items in the checklist, the plots and calculated average are automatically updated. When you hit the stop button on the front panel, the program then saves the average of all cycles selected in the checklist and saves it as a new file. In the end, no files are deleted; only a new file with the average of the selected cycles is created.

Right now the data review program is a standalone program, but it was written in a way that will let is be easily integrated into the fsNMR program as an additional tab on the front panel.

The latest version of the fsNMR program with all of the above changes is on the "hdice" user's desktop in a directory named "fsNMR - LATEST".

Best regards,
Tyler
