Hello Xiangdong,

Today, I made the changes we discussed in the DSG-HDice meeting to the fsNMR program. The latest version is at C:\Users\hdice\Desktop\fsNMR - LATEST on HDICENMR2. Below is a brief summary of what changes were made.

General Changes
Removed prompt asking whether to scale after background subtraction is selection since new scaling equations does not allow for not using scaling.
For fit of R to find R_0bkgd and Phase_0, does not use first 15 data points. You mentioned the first 10 points, but I added an additional buffer in case the little spikes are further in the data.

R (aka Amplitude)
Background R subtracted from R of current acquisition
Used R_0bkgd for scaling

Phase
Background phase subtracted from phase of current acquisition
No scaling of background done

X & Y
Changed from lock-in amplifier acquisition to calculation using R & Phase

I ran the program to acquire two trials of background and scaled data. In the results directory, the trials are in the folders:
Trial 1:
background - 2020-08-21_114428
scaled results - 2020-08-21_115558

Trial 2:
background - 2020-08-21_153823
scaled results - 2020-08-21_154702

I also started adding in the cryogenic sensor monitoring and logging to the fsNMR program. For this feature, there is a new tab added to the fsNMR front panel. However, since the development of this feature is still in progress, the logic for it has been disabled in the LabVIEW program. Next week, we'll finish this part of the program.

I have now logged off of HDICENMR2. We look forward to hearing the results of any testing you do.

-Tyler

Tyler,

Please let me know after you log off the NMR Rack 2, I'd like to do more NMR runs soon.

Thanks,

Xiangdong
