[dsg-hdice] fsNMR front panel screenshot

Xiangdong and Mike,

Since the whole library would be needed, it would be better if one of you could install the VIs in HDICENMR2 to make sure all the necessary VIs are there.

Afterwards, if necessary, I can check it to make sure the communication addresses for the power supplies are correct.

You need the full Oxford directory since the Oxford IPS VI calls many others. -- Mike

Hi Tyler,

Thank you. I'll resume the fsNMR test now.

Another issue related to this rack during UITF runs just came out:

I just realized that since NMR Rack 2 will be operated inside the locked-up UITF during the eHD tests, so I can only run the Oxford power supply remotely through the mirror PC. We must install a full functioned VI for Oxford IPS on the Rack 2 PC to achieve the goal, I think. We have an original Oxford VI for the IPS on our dilution refrigerator controlling the 15 Tesla magnet, which can be installed on the Rack 2 PC without a big effort. Do you have a copy of the VI? If you like, to save time, we can install and test the VI first, so you can you can add it in the project after that. The IPS VI should be operated independently from fsNMR run, but should be in the same project to avoid interference, I think.

Please let know your opinion, and proposal.

Thanks,

Xiangdong

Hi Xiangdong,

I was able to add the ability for the fsNMR program to take a screenshot at the end of all cycles. There will now be a file "end_run_screenshot.jpg" in each results directory with the screenshot.

I have logged off of HDiceNMR2 now.

Also, just for reference in case something happens to the hard drive on HDiceNMR2, whenever a change is made to the fsNMR program, I compress the program's directory and put a copy in O:\DSG_Slow_Controls\HDIce\DSG_NMR_fsNMR_Development\.

Great.

HDice was logout 5 minutes ago.

Thanks,

Xiangdong

Hi Xiangdong,

It should be no problem to finish by 4pm.

I don't expect it to take too long to add the screenshot feature.

Hi Tyler,

Yes, you can logon at 12pm (I have a few short run to do and they will be done by noon).

Could I take it back by 4pm?

Thanks,

Xiangdong

Hi Xiangdong,

I was able to figure out how to get LabVIEW to take a screenshot of the front panel after all cycles have completed.

Would HDICENMR2 be available to remotely log into to add it to the fsNMR program?

Thanks,
Tyler
