Hi Tyler,

Thank you for working on the ips vi, I really appreciate it.

The VI for Oxford IPS on nmr rack 2 pc was tested. It’s working, so we can use it to control the IBC main magnet during UITF runs. For testing with PD, since the magnet is equipped with a persistent switch heater, the switch control button should be added in. Would you please take a look at that? When working on the vi, could you see if possible to add the display of output voltage?

Please let me know when you need to logon to the rack 2 pc. I will bring the field to zero before you test the heater switch.

Hi Xiangdong,

I logged on to HDiceNMR2 and added a version of the Oxford IPS power supply program Peter had to the fsNMR project. You can open it from the fsNMR LabVIEW project. A screenshot is attached with the new VI circled.

After opening it, you'd just need to set the GPIB address to match the power supply.

I also ran the data review program for the ~400 cycle run with no issues. I was able to see all ~400 cycles after zooming out on the plots.

Just a side note, the cycles aren't listed in the review program in numerical order since LabVIEW sorts it "alphabetically". This can't be changed since that behavior is just how LabVIEW works.

If you have any issues with the Oxford IPS program or the data review program, let us know and we'll take another look.

Here are my questions for today:



1.    What’s the maximum number of traces can bae reviewed for each session?



2.    The Oxford VI of IPS on the NMR2 rack PC is an RS232 version (we seems not have the GPIB version any more in the HDice lab). Do you know how to convert it to a GPIB, currently used by the field-scan NMR program?



3.    What’s the status of the program for controlling Zurich Lock-in?



4.    Is there any way to save the offline processed signals to the format which the Lock-in amplifier can recall as background?
