Hi Tom,
Thanks for arranging the meeting with Zurich. We do have a few questions on the Boxcar Averager and the lock-in amplifier
Boxcar Averager questions:
1. Is Boxcar Averager a separate device or is it just a software activation on the Zurich lock-in amplifier?
2. Is the Boxcar Averager applicable to the signals seen for NMR measurements?
2a. Seems like from documentation it is more suited for fast, kHz peaks where you know the period between peaks.
2b. Can we see an example with slower signals?
General lock-in amplifier questions:
1. With the “Reference” options, the manual says that new data is divided by reference data. Is there a configuration where we can get it to do something else, like subtract, the reference signal from the new signal?
2. Is there a way to do more complicated math using sweep results?
2a. We know you can extract information of signal’s peak, can that result then be used as one of the components of a calculation?
3. What is the preferred programming interface for lock-in amplifier (LabVIEW, Python, other)?
3a. What interface is LabOne using?
Thanks,
Tyler

Subject: Re: Meeting with Zurich Rep for Boxcar Averager Demonstration
Good Morning,
I am in the process of scheduling the boxcar averager demo with one of
Zurich's app scientists. Before setting a time next week, I was asked to
put together a list of any questions or topics we wish to discuss so the
person has some time to prepare accordingly.
If you have any questions regarding LabOne, the Lock-In amplifier, or
boxcar averager, please let me know.
Best Regards,
Tom
