It seems like the boxcar averager should use a constant reference frequency, but I am unable to change it from oscillator 1 (whose frequency is being swept by the sweeper module). Every time I use the GUI to change the boxcar's reference to oscillator 2, it
automatically gets forced back to oscillator 1.
The only thing I can think of to get oscillator 1's frequency to be a constant frequency is to change it so Signal Output 2 goes to the PD. This would let oscillator 2 be used for the frequency sweep while oscillator 1 can be set to stay constant for the boxcar
averager.
