Below are some highlights for our last meeting:</div>

<li class="ContentPasted0 ContentPasted1" style="list-style-type:disc">Ran thermal simulation using Ansys Mechanical Transient. Thermal simulation took ~66 hours to complete; results are illogical—the maximum temperature is below the ambient temperature (25°C).<br>


</li><li class="ContentPasted0 ContentPasted1 ContentPasted2" style="list-style-type:disc">


Discussed common model geometry (crystal array, cooling plates, and dividers), thermal boundary conditions, and meshing operations to be used for the Ansys Mechanical and Ansys Mechanical in transient mode.</li><li class="x_ContentPasted0 ContentPasted0" style="list-style-type:disc">For the EIC Beampipe simplified model, mesh improvements are in progress.</li></ul>
