[Dsg-sicom] 2024-08-15 DSG Simulation Control and Monitoring meeting minutes

Hello,

DSG has internal weekly meetings to discuss the progress of the software projects.

Below are some highlights for our last meeting:

For the Moller PLC controls, testing PLC code to send commands to, and receive responses from, the MPS, using simulation Python code
  *
Developed LabVIEW program for the Hall A ECAL power supply interface chassis (PSIC) test stand
  *
Completed simplified model of the EIC beampipe and surrounding detectors in Ansys SpaceClaim
