[Dsg-sicom] 2024-10-17 DSG Simulation Control and Monitoring meeting minutes

Hello,

DSG has internal weekly meetings to discuss the progress of the software projects.

Below are some highlights for our last meeting:

  *
Developed Phoebus screen to monitor Hall A ECAL lightguide temperatures.
  *
Working on ANSYS Mechanical static structural simulations on a 6-ft long aluminum alloy pipe (1.25-in diameter) that could be used to hold the magnetometers for Moller magnet.
  *
Developed accelerometer LabVIEW program for monitoring live accelerometer data from two sensors while CNC is cutting EIC DIRC barbox.
