Dear Colleagues,

If you are interested in participating in an MRI associated with the
C-GEN polarimeter, please check with your department and identify any
internal deadlines that may apply to you or your group.

Please email brads at jlab.org with a summary of those deadlines and what
items your group would like to support. These are the groups I am
presently aware of:

* North Carolina A&T State University (Abdellah et al)
  - has primary responsibility for dE and analyzer vetoes

* Southern University at New Orleans (Mostafa et al.):
  - refurbishing/fabricating 10x10 analyzer bars

* Northern Michigan University (Tireman et al):
  - can support refurbishing and light-guide modifications to E-bars.
    - machine shop and student time may be contributed
    - material costs would have to be supported by MRI or external
      source

These are groups that expressed interest in supporting the build or
prototyping, but would not be a part of the MRI. (Let me know if this
assumption is incorrect.)

Louisiana Tech (Steve Wells et al.):
  - expressed/affirmed interest in smaller hardware work
  - has purchased materials for 1--2 analyzer bars that would be
    compatible with our proposed setup

ANSL/Yerevan group (Vardan et al.):
  - will support assembly/testing here at JLab

The formal MRI submission deadline is Jan 22, 2015.

All the best,
-- Brad
