Hello all,

I compiled some information that would be helpful for running COATJAVA
with the CLARA framework. The first link explains how to set up the CLARA
environment. The second link contains the location of the COATJAVA
distribution and it also contains information regarding updates to the
releases. The current release is 4a.0.0. To avoid confusion, COATJAVA is
the name of the reconstruction software and CLARA is the environment that
runs COATJAVA.

If you have a GEMC EVIO output file, you must convert it to HIPO format to
run CLARA. To do this, download COATJAVA from the second link and run the
following command: coatjava/bin/evio2hipo -o [Name of Output HIPO File]
[Input EVIO File #1] [Input EVIO File #2] .... [Input EVIO File #N].

Afterwards, you can copy that HIPO file to the myClara/data/out directory
and specify which files you want to reconstruct in
myClara/plugins/clas12/config/files.list.

Then, you are ready to reconstruct. Enter the command:
myClara/bin/run-clara.

Both links have fairly good documentation, but the software evolves very
quickly, so it may not keep up. Let me know if you have any issues with
the software.
