The comments about backgrounds and triggers should be relatively straightforward to address. (There is a slight mixup in the names of the spokespersons in this version of the file.)</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Also, the letter of intent for TCS using the NPS (LOI12-15-007 on page 32) using a transversely polarized proton target, received generally favorable comments. Even though some details in the TAC report were out of date, for a full proposal we will need to study the impact of the magnets on the reconstruction in more detail - and we will need to show a procedure, error bars, and sensitivity to the various CFFs for a general angle phi_s between the hadronic plane and the target polarization vector. But since we were already planning for this, the outcome could not have been better.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Unfortunately, this we did not manage to submit the CLAS12 run group proposal (which would be labelled E12-12-001A) for linearly polarized photons and unpolarized target. But we should be able to do it next year, which will still be in advance of the start of CLAS12 running.</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class="">Cheers,</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"> </span>Pawel</div><div class=""><br class=""></div><div class=""><div><br class=""><blockquote type="cite" class=""><div class="">Begin forwarded message:</div><br class="Apple-interchange-newline"><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px;" class=""><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 1.0);" class=""><b class="">From: </b></span><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif;" class="">Lorelei Chopard <<a href="mailto:lorelei@jlab.org" class="">lorelei@jlab.org</a>><br class=""></span></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px;" class=""><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 1.0);" class=""><b class="">Subject: </b></span><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif;" class=""><b class="">[Cuga] PAC43 Report- A message from Bob McKeown</b><br class=""></span></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px;" class=""><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 1.0);" class=""><b class="">Date: </b></span><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif;" class="">July 16, 2015 at 8:56:49 AM EDT<br class=""></span></div><div style="margin-top: 0px; margin-right: 0px; margin-bottom: 0px; margin-left: 0px;" class=""><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif; color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 1.0);" class=""><b class="">To: </b></span><span style="font-family: -webkit-system-font, Helvetica Neue, Helvetica, sans-serif;" class="">"<a href="mailto:cuga@jlab.org" class="">cuga@jlab.org</a>" <<a href="mailto:cuga@jlab.org" class="">cuga@jlab.org</a>><br class=""></span></div><br class=""><div class="">To all:<br class="">Please see the PAC 43 report attached.<br class=""><br class="">Regards,<br class="">Bob McKeown<br class=""><br class=""></div></blockquote></div></div></body></html>
