Hello,
I will hopefully be able to attend the meeting, at least the first half hour
or so, since I am at LLNL and running around.., but in case I miss the meeting
for some unexpected reasons, here is my todo list in chronological order:
1. Investigate the discrepancy for A1(x) [proton, deuteron] between old and
new analysis. The most probable reasons for this are pbpt and dilution
factors. Pbpt is the easiest to test. I am currently doing it by replacing my
pbpt values with Vipuli's [for D], Yelena's [for P] and Peters [for P,D] pbpt
values in the energies they are available and redoing the whole analysis
chain. Unfortunately this will not be finalized tomorrow. I should probably do
the same thing for the dilution factors but I have no idea how to find the
dilution factors used for the old analysis..
2. I am preparing to redo the dis fit for the neutron A1 model. This, or
course will require redoing the neutron A1 resonance fits and then the neutron
A1 extraction from deuteron data. I am at the warm-up stage on this.. We
probably need to go over what dis data we have for the neutron A1..
3. I need to finalize some work on systematic error calculations, especially
on neutron extraction from deuteron data. I actually think the method is
pretty good as it is (which uses sys errors from deuteron A1 data and adds on
it by considering different models for extraction) but for sake of consistency
among all systematic errors, I will change the method (use different deuteron
A1 from different models while extracting neutron and calculate sys error from
these different extractions). I will do this while redoing the fits.
4. Finalize the analysis note. It is pretty close. I am not working on it too
hard on it since we must all concentrate on the proton analysis note/paper at
this stage..
That's all I can think of right now. Please tell me if there is something I
forgot to include to my todo list.
Best regards, - Nevzat
