[Eg1_run] next EG1 meeting

Dear EG1ers,

with snow apparently no more in the picture (and everyone having had LOTS of time to work on the various papers and EG12 simulations), our next meeting should be both lively and interesting. As usual, we meet THURSDAY, MARCH 12, at 9:30 a.m. in A110 CEBAF Center. Call-in instructions are below.

We use the Bluejeans videoconferencing software.
1) For full multi-media access, enter in your web browser the following URL: https://bluejeans.com/7576835804. You will be asked whether you want to login or just join as a participant. Choose "participant" and follow the on-screen instructions (you may be asked to download a browser extension when you use Bluejeans for the first time). You should see images from other participants and hear sound on your computer's loudspeakers. If you have a video camera (built-in or hooked up to your computer), others will be able to see you. You must have a microphone (built in or hooked up to your computer) to communicate. Ideally, you should use headphones (with integrated mike if possible) to reduce feedback; alternatively, you can mute yourself when you are not talking. There is even an iPhone and Android app if you want to participate by tablet/smartphone… ;-)
2) If this sounds all too complex, it is possible to dial in.
The phone nr. is 1-888-240-2560
The meeting ID is 7576835804 (Sebastian's ODU office phone nr). You enter this after the prompt, followed by the "#" sign, and after the 2nd prompt, press "#" again. That's it - you should be able to talk and hear us as usual; however, you won't see video and shared desktop.
