Dear all,

I manged to extract the parameters to correct TDCmax as a function of
run_number and z position in RTPC. Here you can find the final fittings:
https://clasweb.jlab.org/rungroups/lowq/wiki/index.php/Drift_Speed_Correction.
By these fittings, the first and last slices in z for each run are
included and the fits are converging at the edges. From the side of
checking the quality of the these fits, we use 1.2 GeV data, in which we
compare the calculated TDCmax by the selected good tracks in RTPC to the
TDCmax by selecting elastic events. The difference between the two methods
has been reduced from 3% to 1%.

These extracted parameters are implemented in the file
gem/init_paths_using_fit.c (attached here). Also, attached gem/rtpc.h file
in which i added the declaration of the function which calculates TDCmax.
Nathan, i need to have an access to the run number in order to do the
calculations in init_paths_using_fit.c. I am not sure about the parameter
runNum which is declared in gem package, does it represent the run Number?
( i implement it as the run number, line 22 in this file).

Lamiaa, if Nathan agrees about the point of the run number and if
everything is going well user_ana, Can you replace the original
(init_paths_using_fit.c, rtpc.h) files by the ones attached here and cook
the following runs:
1. First 400K events from these 6 GeV runs: 61570, 61625, 61734, 61872.
2. All the events of these 1.2 GeV runs: 61450, 61453, 6165.

For these runs, i need the detailed TPCC bank (which contains the raw
ADCs and TDCs). As an output, I need only HROOT files.

Have a nice holidays,
Mohammad Hattawy.
