Hello Stepan, Hovanes and all,
I made these slides for us to discuss more about the results. Most
probably i will present the coherent channel in details and point out
the final asymmetries of the incoherent channel (Hovan, i will do my
best to put also the measured asymmetries from e1dvcs experiment).
Thanks a lot for both of you for your comments, i will take them into
account in my presentation during the collaboration meeting.
Stepan, regarding you questions, yes these eHepi0(1gamma) events pass
the exclusivity cuts which are defined from the simulated coherent dvcs
events. For the background subtraction, yes i subtract the number of the
experimental pions multiplied by the contamination ratio from the number
of DVCS events in each helicity (+/-). For these i just take the value
of R in each bin t assuming there is no big variation in phi. I think
this is a good assumption? see slide 34, i extracted the contamination
ratio in two dimensional bins ( t, phi) for the incoherent channel.
I would like to arise the status of the incoherent channel and the
shifts we see in the experimental data ( slide number 28). Nathan, can
you run your code to check if you will see these shifts? you dont need
full data, it will be clear from running over 10% of the data.
Regards,
Mohammad.
