Hi Lamiaa,<br>
<br>
Your point is well taken. Reason I started with this file is it was
on the<br>
cache disk. Later I was jcache another file from your good run list.<br>
But the point I want to make here is that we might have good runs<br>
that have last one or may be few files are bad. This runs must be<br>
some how saved. This DAQ issues could also be source of what you <br>
noticed in your previous email. Some runs may had DAQ problems<br>
but they may never being reported. <br>
Any way I will keep digging. Will be interesting if you can cook
this<br>
file and also A15 with your user_ana.<br>
<br>

<br>
Since you are testing a 6 GeV run, I have never cook more than 10
files for this run period. <br>
So, what you noticed for clas_61540.A14 must be also true for A15
and A16.<br>
<br>
By the way, if you look to the sheet summary of the eg6 production
runs that I sent you <br>
earlier (I put it again in attachment) you will find a comment
about the DAQ crash on it. <br>
Please for your convenience revise this file on you further test.
The objective of generating <br>
this file was to have a list of good runs and make a decision
about some runs that I was <br>
suspicious about them in my comments. <br>
I will appreciate your (you and others) feedback about this list.<br>
<br>
Best regards,<br>

Dear all,<br>
<br>
In doing my studies with pass1 outputs I noticed couple of
problems (so far).<br>
These could be problems of cooking, it is possible that I am
not using right<br>
stuff for it. But never the less I want to see if any one has
any thoughts on these.<br>
<br>
Firs problem I encountered is in cooking of file
clas_061540.A14. I run only 100K<br>
and in Ntuple I got strange events at last 15%. In the
attached file <a moz-do-not-send="true"
href="http://r61540_14.ps">r61540_14.ps</a><br>
you will find thee graphs, showing event ID vs. momentum of
the first particle<br>
in EVNT. As you can see at the end of 100K events I got tracks
in the first row of<br>
EVNT with fixed momentum. It turns out most of them are
positive particles (see<br>
second and third pages). Looking into output of user_ana, I
can see that massages<br>
that tracking code prints out when number "ntr_link" exceeds
max value stopped<br>
somewhere after 83293 events (attached file r61540_14.tiff). I
looked in the logbook<br>
and seems like this run crushed at the end, but there are
files A15 and A16 of this<br>
run and I do not know if we have seen problem with this files
as well.<br>
<br>
Second problem I see is related with ICPB. Attached file <a
moz-do-not-send="true" href="http://ic_hits.ps">ic_hits.ps</a>
shows distribution<br>
of relative energy of central crystal as a function of cluster
energy from ICPB and<br>
ICHB. Clearly ICPB plot is wrong. Energy of clusters run above
7 GeV and central crystal<br>
has more than 100% of cluster energy, impossible. Plot from
ICHB is normal, as one<br>
would expect. Some thing is wrong in the transition from ICHB
to ICPB. Must be<br>
corrected.<br>
<br>
Finally I want to emphasize that looking into cooked data,
running simple analysis<br>
are very important. We need to find and fix problems before
pass1 cooking. Any<br>
inputs on above issues will be appreciated.<br>
<br>
