Hello Mohammad,

Thanks for this nice analysis. Did you tried to see if there
is any Z-vertex or \Phi dependence to the momentum
difference.

Dear all,
For the comparison between the momentum distributions between the old
setup parameters of delta_phi and the new ones i have extracted, we
have ~97 of the elastic events in the new setup which are common with
the old setup and we have ~1% differnce in the number of the elastic
events between the two setup ( 359 elastic events in the old data, 351
elastic events in the new one and 340 events common). For the momentum
differene distribution, you can have a look at the attached file, in
which
delta_p = new momentum - old momentum, just for the common elastic events.
It is mainly a peak centered aroud zero, but there is a tail in the
positive side, in which the momentum constructed with the new parameters
is higher than the old one. I could not conclude anything with this number
of elastic events from the distributions of dedx vs. p.
In conclusion, we can go to the next cooking with the current parameters.
Best regards,
Mohammad Hattawy.
