[Eic-core-phys] [EXTERNAL] EIC-CORE Slack Server

I created a Slack channel for EIC/CORE discussions. If you’re not familiar with Slack, it’s a IRC-style server-based system for discussions. You can use it in a browser or download the app to your desktop or mobile device. I created several channels (general and then ones for each WG) for more focused discussions and you can also reply directly to a comment and create a thread.

I’ve found it extremely useful in the past for expedited communication, sharing of plots, etc. Things that may not warrant a full formal meeting but that are still a bit more involved than lengthy email threads are suitable for. Additionally, I find it generally easier to search with compared to dozens of old email chains. For example, later today I may be working on trying to get DIS simulations and reconstruction going with delphes (I’m at a very early stage) and could post a general question about how something about the software may work.

Anyway, just an idea. If people prefer not to use it that’s fine of course.
