continuation of our earlier study for the 22GeV cms energy. We use
the "benchmark" configuration for the proton energy, but the
electron energy is independent from that and it relates to the
lower energy part of the EIC capabilities that we plan to develop
for the 2nd IR. We are also pursuing physics on a longer time

Objet : [EIC-exclusive] EIC/JLAB Exclusive
processes meeting

Dear all,

This is a reminder of our next EIC/JLab exclusive
processes meeting Tuesday 4/14 at 10am.

At that meeting we should discuss a plan to develop our
simulations for the DVCS => CFF => GFF procedure
with the EIC - high x kinematics in mind.

Simulations would cover two cms energies sqrt(s) =
22.2GeV ( 3 GeV x 41 GeV) and sqrt(s) = 45 GeV (5 GeV x
100 GeV). We should look at both the electron-spin
asymmetries as well as the proton transverse polarization
asymmetries and the longitudinal double asymmetries. If
available we could use different event generators.

1) The first part would continue to study how well we can
isolate DVCS from the pi0
production, and what is required in terms of detector
energy resolution and angle resolutions for all measured
particles with reference to the resolution assumptions as
specified in the EIC detector handbook. The goal would be
to make significant progress on this project by the time
of the Pavia YR meeting in May.

2) We should also review were we are with the spectroscopy
project (baryons or mesons), and if there are preliminary
results that can be presented at the Pavia meeting.

3) For the longer term part we should look into how well
we can determine the CFF H(xi, t), E(xi, t), and the
gravitational form factors d1(t), J(t), M2(t) after data
are taken at the kinematics as described above assuming
data are taken with 10fb^-1 and with 100fb<sup
class="moz-txt-sup">^-1</sup>,
for each of the polarization combinations. For any
simulations please use detector resolutions as described
in the EIC Detector Handbook table.

Please describe any DVCS/CFF event generator that may be
available, or plans/status of developing one.
