Dear Anselm and dear all,
I attach one slide, extracted from my talk at CPHI 2020 (and
simplified for easier reading), where I show the results of Alexei & co.
(labelled JAM 20) for tensor charges (up, down, isovector) with respect
to their previous result (JAM 18), to our analysis of di-hadron data
("global fit"), and to analysis of Collins effect with only SIDIS data
("Torino" from Anselmino group, "TMD" from Alexei himself + Zhong-Bo and
others). The broad blue band represents the uncertainty of our "global
fit" at 90% confidence level (i.e., the area includes 90% of the replicas).
Two comments.

1- "JAM 20" clearly disproves "JAM 18"; the discrepancy for the down
channel is evident. In other words, I believe that constraining a fit to
reproduce lattice results (as JAM 18 did) is not a priority. First, one
should work to include in the fit experimental data from as many
processes as possible and then compare with lattice. This is what we did
in our "global fit" (di-hadron production from SIDIS and proton-proton)
and what Alexei & co. have done in "JAM 20".

2- The error bars of "JAM 20" are very large, so large that they are
compatible with lattice but also with us ("global fit") and with other
phenomenology ("Torino" and "TMD"). From the point of view of the
suspected "tension" at 2-sigma between phenomenology and lattice, their
result is not conclusive...

Best regards,
Marco
