Dear All,
At our last meeting just before Christmas we decided to have the next meeting in ~1 month which would bring us to January 17th or 24th if we keep our usual Friday spot (more about that below)
After some informal polling, it seems that most people would prefer a later date so I would suggest to meet on the 24th. (There is an overlapping meeting on the 31st).
I’ll send out an email a few days before the 24th to re-evaluate if we should push the meeting date further.
In order to avoid having to separately schedule each of the subsequent meetings, I would suggest to have a biweekly time slot that we’ll use if people want to show something.
Of course we heard some big news yesterday. I think though that for our work the immediate consequences are minimal, since we overlap with the Yellow Report anyways as we discussed at the last meeting.
But we should see how things develop and discuss at our next meeting.
Finally, we propose to have the meeting at 1:30pm on Fridays instead of 11am. This seems to work better for a significant number of people. Let me know if there are conflicts with this time that I should be aware of,
Best regards,
Anselm
