Hi Katherine,

well, we need Sourav includes in the detector L3 CAM mails and trained as CAM in either case, as otherwise we can never do succession planning.

But we understand that it may be less work to have him be technical lead of the L4 elements.

So can we do that, have Sourav trained as CAM, always cc'd when Beni as CAM gets info, and have Sourav be Technical Lead? I can pass by if you want to discuss,

Hi Beni and Rolf,

Can you please clarify how this is to be set up?  We can (1) move all control accounts to L4 (a nuisance, lots of extra reporting for Beni), (2) Break out 6.10.4.4 at L3 as a separate control account (not very logical), or (3) Make Sourav a technical lead but leave Beni as CAM.  Please advise.

Hi Beni, this cannot be done this way exactly.  If you want 6.10.4.4 to have a different CAM, we will have to move all the controls accounts to level 4 vs level 3, and set you up as the L4 CAM for 6.10.4.1, 6.10.4.2, and 6.10.4.3.

Thanks for the information.

Has Sourav completed any CAM or JPMQ Training (to be provided by Project Controls)?  He will also need Technical Representative (TR) training (provided by Procurement).

We will need to add Sourav to the L3 CAM Mailing Distribution List.

Phil, please let me know if I'm missing any other training requirements for a CAM.

Hi Christine,

Sourav Tarafdar is taking over the CAM responsibility for the TOF PID detector
that is WBS 06.10.4.04. I still will be L3 CAM for the other PID detectors.
How should we proceed on getting Sourav properly involved and on all the necessary email
lists of the project and what does he have to do to be able to take on this task with regards
to requirements like training, or who we need to contact in the project on this change.
