Good afternoon, Katherine:

Recently Allison Lung mentioned to Lauren Hansen that she wanted a greater focus on construction projects being communicated internally at the lab - not just when we hit a mission critical goal, but more like vignettes highlighting people or accomplishments that wouldn’t normally get as much love and attention externally. That’s not to say that something cool wouldn’t get promoted on social but we are more interested in the “micro wins” at the lab.

Members of the communications team have all been designated certain construction projects to serve as a liaison; I was assigned EIC, which is why I am currently in your inbox. 😉

This is a newer communications strategy for us - we almost always wait to promote something when it’s finished but as you know, there are many things that must happen before reaching the finish line. Alethea has already been doing a version of this (see attached) for the Weekly. The slight difference would be focusing more on people, adding photos into the mix, and sharing the updates with a more conversation (yet informative!) tone.

All in all, it is a great opportunity brag on the EIC project and what we are doing at the lab.

Does this sound like something we can partner on? If so, I would love to set up a quick chat to get this thing off the ground.
