[Eicatjlab_all_personnel] Happy Holidays

EIC Team,
It’s been a really challenging and productive year for the EIC at JLab.  This team has done a really fantastic job moving the project forward from all the great work on the APS magnets to the 591 5-cell that despite hiccups is making great strides, to the detector where I think they got through more PDRs and FDRs than any other L2 system.  Th cryogenics team has also done a great job getting the OR-10 cryoplant RFP on the street and we eagerly await responses.  The project controls team, quality, systems engineering and on an on have really produced this year.  The list of accomplishments is long.

I want to thank everyone who has made this possible and wish you all a safe and happy holiday break.

Take some time to rest, recharge and enjoy family and friends.  I’ll see some of you at BNL for the OPA review and I hope more of you the following weeks.

As many of you are aware, I am retiring February 3rd.  I have the greatest confidence that Katherine, Rolf, the L2 managers and the rest of this team, working closely with Kim and David, will keep EIC at JLab on track until my replacement arrives.

Again, have a very happy an safe holiday and see you in January.
