A message from Jim Fast, EIC Associate Project Manager

[cid:image004.png at 01DA9BB5.3901DC20]JLab has received $11.2M of anticipated $24.6M for FY24. We are anticipating another increment of funding in May and the balance in June and/or July. The project has ample funding already for planned FY24 activities so the rate at which funding is being distributed by DOE is not an issue.

Resource leveling to ensure project planning is consistent with FY25-26 funding expectations is ongoing, but we are getting quite close to having the planned scope funded at JLab fit within reasonable funding expectations through FY26.

Jefferson Lab continues its ramp up of staffing for the EIC Project. There are currently 10 EIC open positions.
