We are now moving into review season, with the kick-off meeting for the EIC Director's Review this week.  At the review, EIC team members will be presenting the status of the project, with a focus on (1) progress since CD-3A approvals, (2) readiness for CD-3B, and (3) progress towards CD-2 for the remaining scope.  A successful Director's Review will position us well for the Office of Science's Independent Project Review in January.

In addition, as you may have heard, the project is looking at options for phasing the project.  This lets us start collider operation and achieve early science in the timeframe that meets the needs of the user community, while also continuing to develop the EIC to achieve its ultimate key performance parameters.  A proposal on the best way to implement phasing should be forthcoming.  At JLab, the phasing plan may result in adjusting the schedule of some of our work to support the project timeline.
