Season's Greetings!

The JLab Children’s Holiday Party is coming up this weekend, and the annual Toys for Tots drive is in full swing this week.  The SRF elves are hoping you'll consider chipping in to help buy some bikes and be part of our contribution to Toys for Tots.  Any donation, large or small, will help brighten the holiday for one more child, with a truly memorable gift.  All of our bikes, and the other toys donated by the Lab, are gathered up at the annual Children's Party, where they are picked up by Toys For Tots and distributed to local children.



Thanks to your generosity over the last 23 years, we’ve donated a total of 311, shiny new, 20" bicycles, helmets, and locks to needy kids in the area.  This year’s party is on Saturday, Dec. 6th, and any money or pledges collected this week will go toward the bikes.  Feel free to chip in to this group fund or not- some folks might prefer to donate a new, unwrapped toy of their choosing to one of the big, white collection boxes, and that's great, too.  Please email me if you have any questions at all.



A few ways to contribute toward a bike this year:

  1.  Find me outside the SRF Conference Room (map: 58/1227<https://misportal.jlab.org/mis/facilities/archibus_room_chooser.cfm?noheader=1&bldgFloor=58_1&room=1227>) after the daily 8:30 A.M. SRF Planning meeting. (I’ll be the one wearing the elf hat, antlers and/or flashing LEDs)
  2.  Email a reply with a pledge amount and we can catch up later, whenever it’s convenient.
  3.  Scan the Venmo QR code below, or find me <@LarryKingT4T> on Venmo or PayPal.  If you’d prefer to use ApplePay or another method, just drop me a line.
  4.  Drop by Ashley Mitchell’s desk, near the upstairs conference room (map: 58/2231-1<https://misportal.jlab.org/mis/facilities/archibus_room_chooser.cfm?noheader=1&bldgFloor=58_2&room=2231-1>).
