Hello Team,

During the OPA Review, The CD-3A Lessons Learned Report was referenced several times. For those not involved in the original exercise, we'd like to highlight the value these findings and recommendations will bring to the procurement process moving forward. Over one thousand procurements will be executed over the project's period of performance; now is the time to implement process improvements for the benefit of CD-3B and all future procurements to ensure success in implementing our procurement process .

While much progress has been made on CD-3A procurements, it has certainly been fraught with unforeseen challenges. Many who participated in these long lead procurements conducted internal reviews and gathered information with the intention of finding common themes and opportunities for improvement. The results have been compiled in the attached The CD-3A Lessons Learned Report. Please note, this exercise did not analyze every CD-3A procurement, the items which presented the largest learning opportunities were selected.
