Dear Colleagues:



Thank you, Naeem Huque, for leading the EIC 197 MHz crab cavity design verification component demonstration at JLab.  With Naeem’s stewardship over the past 2 years the 197 MHz crab cavity design was finished, and the fabrication process has matured to a level where stewardship of the work can be handed off.  Now Naeem’s expertise is needed to advance the EIC crab cavity cryomodule designs and deliver finished cryomodules.



We are happy to announce that John Buttles, has agreed to assume the stewardship of the 197 MHz crab cavity fabrication.  John joined JLab in 2024 with decades of experience fabricating high-tech devices.  Please join us welcoming John to his new role and support him in delivering the 197 MHz crab cavity.
