of the EIC. Our near-term goal is to demonstrate that we are ready to proceed with the construction phase of the EIC accelerator rings in 2026, following the successful conclusion of RHIC operations. <o:p></o:p></span></p>

operations into EIC construction are still to be determined. These details will be informed by actual technical progress on the EIC design and the development of our overall project baseline and subproject plans. There is much work ahead in 2025.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="margin:0in;word-break:break-word;-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#333333"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="margin:0in;word-break:break-word;-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#333333">The EIC will be a unique facility, and the scientific and technical challenges motivate our efforts
and the interest of our international partners. There is excellent progress engaging potential international partners and we are now ready to finalize agreements on notable in-kind contributions. Clarifying these contributions is a pre-requisite to establishing
a project baseline. <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="margin:0in;word-break:break-word;-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#333333"> <o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p style="margin:0in;word-break:break-word;-webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased"><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#333333">The EIC international governance bodies, notably the Advisory Board and the Resource Review Board
(RRB), continue to review progress and prepare plans for the delivery of EIC components. The next RRB meeting will be hosted by the Czech Republic and provide an opportunity for our international partners to further clarify their contributions to the ePIC
detector.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

late May. The PAC is chaired by Thomas Glasmacher, Director of the Facility for Rare Isotope Beams, and includes a handful of experts. This meeting will be a “Red Team” review, providing a comprehensive assessment and critique and help us prepare for the
DOE Independent Project Review scheduled for August 5-7, 2025.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

</span></strong><span style="font-size:13.5pt;font-family:"Segoe UI",sans-serif;color:#333333">My career at BNL began 40 years ago when I left working in New York City in public relations and was hired into the clerical pool as an administrative assistant,
working where needed throughout the Lab. Six months later, I transferred into a permanent position in the Department of Applied Science in the Fuels & Catalysis Division. At the beginning of RHIC construction, I transferred to C-AD’s Administrative Group in
Bldg. 1005, working for the Group Leader. In this position, I managed the payment processing for the RHIC detector construction contracts, and then when RHIC began operations, my first son was born, so I transferred to work part-time in Bldg. 911 as the Procedures
Coordinator in the ESSHQ Division. Fourteen years later, the Department Chair’s assistant retired, and I transferred to that position in the main office, where I am still working today. I’ve been very fortunate to have had a long and fulfilling career at BNL
and made many life-long friends here.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

which is essential for achieving maximum luminosity. However, noise introduced by the crab cavity Radio Frequency (RF) system can lead to significant transverse emittance growth, potentially limiting luminosity lifetime. Additionally, the RF systems require
high-gain feedback to minimize the fundamental cavity impedance and ensure beam stability. In this seminar, we will present our ongoing development of a low-level RF system for the EIC crab cavity RF systems, focusing on the key challenges of providing high-gain
feedback and low-noise field control to achieve performance requirements.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
