Dear EIC Team:

As many of you are aware, Ed Daly, the current L2 Manager for RF Systems will be leaving the EIC Project and JLAB officially on January 5, 2023. Ed has made significant contributions to several SRF projects at the lab for over a decade, including SNS PPU and LCSL-II HE and most recently EIC.  Ed's expertise and leadership will be greatly missed at JLab and on the EIC project writ large.  A search for Ed's replacement is underway (https://misportal.jlab.org/hr/recruiting/postings/13298). <https://misportal.jlab.org/hr/recruiting/postings/13298>  We are currently targeting interviews and making an offer by the end of January.

Effective immediately, Zachary Conway has agreed to serve as the Interim L2 Manager for RF Systems. Zack has been with BNL since 2019 where he is now the C-AD SRF group leader and the EIC RF Systems Deputy L2 Manager.  After receiving his Ph.D. in Physics in 2007, he worked for several SRF projects including ILC, CESR, SRF cavities at Cornell University and SRF projects at ANL for DOE NP, HEP and BES. Paolo Berrutti will serve as the Interim Deputy L2 Manager for RF Systems. Paolo has been active in the SRF community for more than 13 years serving various DOE Projects. While he is acting as Deputy L2 Manager, he will continue to serve as EIC In-Kind Contributions Engineer.  Thank you to Zack and Paolo for their willingness to assist during this transition period.
