With the 4th of July Holiday approaching, we need your assistance with timekeeping to ensure we can meet our earlier pay date requirements within this shortened payroll processing timeframe. All managers, supervisors and employees have a responsibility for
completing their timesheets in the timeframes outlined below.<br>
<br>
<strong>All Employees:</strong> On Wednesday, June 29 before 5 p.m., all employees are required to complete and sign their timesheet, estimating work time for Thursday, June 30. For this timesheet period
<u>only</u>, employees are authorized to estimate time for Thursday, June 30. Any adjustments for estimated time charged can be made later by correcting the timesheet in July. If you plan to be on vacation on June 29, please complete and sign your timesheet
the last day you are at work. Timekeeping system</a> from off-site. It is imperative that employees meet this deadline because the Supervisor and Project Management approvals are due on June 30 before 10 a.m.<br>
<br>
<strong>All Employees, Supervisors and Managers:</strong> Managers must record time for any employee who has failed to complete their timesheet and who cannot be reached by Thursday, June 30 at 10 a.m. The supervisor/manager shall use Vacation or Leave Without
Pay (LWOP) if they do not know the number of hours worked or the project codes used. Corrections may be completed when the employee is again available by preparing a correcting timesheet in July. Any corrections to vacation or LWOP will be processed on our
normal payroll schedule in July.<br>
<br>
<strong>All Supervisors:</strong> Before Thursday, June 30 at 10 a.m., please verify that all of your employees' timesheets have been signed and approved. If you find that an employee has not completed their timesheet, please contact the employee and instruct
them to do so immediately. If you cannot locate your employee by the 10 a.m. deadline, please complete his or her timesheet as outlined above. You will be responsible for signing his/her timesheet and will then need to request that your next level supervisor
approve the timesheet. Please contact your supervisor to request he/she approve the timesheet once you have signed it. If your supervisor cannot be reached, please escalate up your supervisory chain to complete this approval. Failure to ensure your employees'
timesheets have been signed and approved could impact the Lab's ability to process payroll within the required deadlines.<br>
<br>
<strong>All Managers:</strong> For the morning of Thursday, June 30, please be prepared to assist in this effort by signing and/or approving timesheets for the employees within your organization. Your assistance will be required if the direct supervisor is
unavailable or unreachable the morning of Thursday, June 30 or if someone within your reporting chain has not completed his/her timesheet. Payroll will be contacting employees, supervisors and managers to assist with completing, signing and approving timesheets
the morning of Thursday, June 30.<br>
<br>
<strong>Division Admins:</strong> Please review all your division employees' timesheets and reach out to any employee who has not completed their timesheet by June 30. Starting at 10 a.m., please follow up with ANY supervisor who has not approved their employees'
timesheets.<br>
