[Eng-div] October Spending - IMPORTANT!

Folks,
     I'm not sure everyone would have noticed this but Congress has not 
passed a continuing resolution giving the lab a pot of money to continue 
operations.   Currently we are using money carried over from FY'11 to 
keep the lab open and operational.  As you can imagine, this will get 
fixed when our high performing Congress gets together to work out at 
least a continuing resolution to fund the gov't until a final spending 
authorization bill is passed.  Since we don't know when this will happen 
we need to spend only what is necessary to keep things running.  So 
until further notice, you should only buy mission critical/work stoppage 
supplies/equipment etc.  This means if you can put it off until later, 
buy it later.
