This talk will give an overview of R&D of accelerator-based photon
sources at Shanghai Synchrotron Radiation Facility (Shanghai Institute
of Applied Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences), the recent progresses
of Shanghai deep ultraviolet free electron laser test facility and
recently proposed high power terahertz source in Shanghai.
