ACCELERATOR SEMINAR 

Turkish Accelerator and Radiation Laboratory in Ankara (TARLA)

Turkish Accelerator and Radiation Laboratory in Ankara (TARLA) is proposed as the first facility of the Turkish Accelerator Center Project (TAC) to generate InfraRed Free Electron Laser (IR-FEL) ranging between 3 - 250 microns. The facility will consist of a thermionic gun-based totally normal conducting injector, two superconducting acceleration ELBE modules operating at continuous wave (SW) mode and two independent optical cavity systems with different undulator period lengths. The electron beam will also be used for generating Bremsstrahlung radiation. In this talk, we will present a summary for the facility and describe the main components.
