ACCELERATOR SEMINAR 

SwissFEL Machine and its Advanced Beam Diagnostics Tools

Paul Scherrer Institute 



SwissFEL is a compact free electron laser (FEL) user facility at the P aul Scherrer Institute in Villigen , Switzerland. The 5.8 GeV SwissFEL linear accelerator, which is based on normal C-band technology, is planned to become operational in 2016. The talk is concentrated on advanced electron beam diagnostics tools, which will support the machine setup, tuning, and day-to-day operations.
