Keeping personal documents and records longer than needed can become problematic and pose a personal ID security risk.

If you have decades' worth of old bills, cancelled checks, bank statements and other records at home that you'd like to have shredded, you might want to consider this: EnTrust Records Management on nearby Blue Crab Road, is offering a FREE Shred Day, Thursday, April 25 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Each person may bring up to three boxes or bags of material for shredding (no need to remove staples or paper clips). In return, EnTrust is asking for non-perishable food donations to support the Foodbank of the Virginia Peninsula.

Need some boxes for your old papers? Records Management has used records storage boxes you can have. Contact Kim Kindrew, for more information about acquiring boxes or personal records management.
