Starting from the construction of the Beijing Electron Positron Collider (BEPC), IHEP developed accelerator physics and technologies during the past three decades. Then, IHEP finished the upgrades of the BEPC, BEPCII, which is now running for both HEP and synchrotron radiation users, and is now constructing the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS). In the mean time, the R&D Accelerator Driven Subsystem (ADS) is also being done. Some new projects, such as the Beijing Advanced Photon Source (BAPS) and Circular Electron Positron Collider (CEPC) are being proposed. Studies on these future projects are on-going. Status with some details of these projects, and accelerator studies will be reported as well.

Friday, January 10, 2014
11:00 a.m.
CEBAF Center, Room F113
