It allows to describe the topology of a machine, which presents beamline splits and joins, and to track many bunches preserving their time sequence at each element according to their paths. Under these conditions, the computation of multi-bunch effects, such as long range wakefields, becomes possible and their impact on the beam stability can be estimated.
