If you have not already done so, please read the following from Andrew
Hutton.

-------- Original Message --------

Ladies and Gentlemen

There have been a few instances recently when someone suffered what they believed to be a minor accident and decided to ignore it. Often, there were longer-term consequences (stiffness, pain) which would have been avoided by going promptly to Medical Services to have the affected area checked out. I understand the reluctance to admit that you might have hurt yourself, but in fact, if a small problem is taken care of quickly, it will not develop into a larger problem later.

So I am requesting that if you have the slightest physical problem, including over-exertion, fatigue, or a minor incident, that you inform your supervisor and immediately go to Medical Services for a check-up. Nothing that you are doing is so important that you should jeopardize your health to stay on schedule. I would much rather that you delay whatever you are doing in order to avoid a bad medical result later.

Please make sure that you do this, and encourage your co-workers to do the same. I would like to remind you that it is the responsibility of us all to be safe, and to keep our colleagues safe.

Thanks

Andrew
