Hi Marcus,

Thank you for comments and suggestions. I will implement them. Also please note that if the slides are viewed on browser on google drive the formatting doesn’t show the actual
format. Probably better to download the ppt file to see it . I will also upload the pdf which can be viewed on browser with out affecting the format.

Thanks,
-Sourav

 Hi Sourav,

Thank you for putting together this nice draft. I have a few minor comments:

General: Page numbers are not visible on all the pages.

p.6 Please get the drawing of the detector mechanics as actually built from Pietro. The one you have on the right is obsolete.

Suggest: “Design with only foils present in the active area. Mechanical support structure…"

p.7 We were hoping to run with 120 GeV proton, not pions. I agree that we need to put a statement on the mechanical instability of the drift foil.

p.11 Use hyphens: Double-sided Thin-Gap to make it easier to read

p.12 The various labels on the designs need to be adjusted for the smaller size of the graphics. Right now they are a jumble.

Also: -> Design of frame structure for GEM and drift foil stretching

p.13 tractlet -> tracklet

Thanks,

Marcus

Hi Sourav,
These are very nice slides. Thanks for preparing that. I have only few minor comments

  * Slide 3: Thin-gap (including hybrid GEM-uRWELL) is still very well considered for ePIC uRWELL tracker even if the default 3 mm single amplification is considered baseline (but actually back-up option if we fail to demonstrate thin gap on large device) ==> the spatial resolution deterioration due to track angle and the ExB effect are not marginal issue that we are looking at only for the upgrade of ePIC or detector II
  * Slide 7: To be fair, you should also add a bullet stating that we had some HV stability issues that we fight to address as one of the reason for not collecting the data ==> we are making sure to have these issues fully address before next beam test
  * Slide 9: If you could fit in the cross sectional view of the Thin-gap GEM-uRWELL hybrid (and optional triple GEM), that would help also

Looks great overall, good luck
Best regards
Kondo

Dear all,

Sorry for the delay but attached is the draft of my CPAD -2023 talk. The talk is scheduled for 11/8/2023. It is 15 (12+3) minutes talk. Effectively I will prefer to limit the number of slides to 14.
