Dear all,
Please see below the announcement for the upcoming CPAD workshop. Looks like there is a dedicated "Gaseous Detector" session for us. So please consider submitting an abstract.

Best regards
Kondo

Dear Kondo,

I am sorry if you received this email already from other lists.

Can you please forward it to deferent gaseous detector R&D groups working towards EIC tracking and encourage them to consider submitting an abstract?

Thank you!
Prakhar

Dear Colleagues,

As was recently announced, the U.S. instrumentation community is forming a series of Detector R&D Collaborations (RDCs). We are coordinating RDC6 on "Gaseous Detectors", and have two important requests:

  1.
  2.
  3. We encourage you to attend the upcoming Workshop of the Coordinating
  4. Panel for Advanced Detectors (CPAD) at SLAC November 7-10 (https://indico.slac.stanford.edu/event/8288/<https://urldefense.proofpoint.com/v2/url?u=https-3A__indico.slac.stanford.edu_event_8288_&d=DwMF-g&c=CJqEzB1piLOyyvZjb8YUQw&r=8RkWGK8Ehr23aQ4XZaeJkKhdeUjRK7rjlS9Ivaen0wM&m=3g4OO56PS8m8lZ-9Z1x3BMcWwOk9xkgOc1Vp1U8eUPm7b74tyUn-I9f0ttFrIcWJ&s=ln_znMFw7Vwk6w6TGnP8cEG3MGewnzECl19trRjfqRk&e=>),
  5.

One focus of the workshop is identifying collaborations that can be funded within and between RDCs. We note that gaseous detectors have been somewhat underrepresented in the past, and strongly encourage you to submit abstracts in the gaseous detector track. Both high energy physics and nuclear physics contributions are welcome.

  1.
  2.
  3. To stay informed in the future, please sign up for the RDC6
  4. mailing list now. While we are sending this message out to a number of mailing lists, future announcements may only go to the RDC6 list.

Best regards,

Prakhar and Sven
