[Esr-users] [New Logentry] Hall C Dipole Quench and Blown Rupture Disk

The SHMS Dipole quenched at ~15:25 which resulted in its Rupture disk blowing. It is unclear if the primary relief valve opened. Even if it did open, it did not limit the pressure in the magnet enough to keep the rupture disk from blowing. The magnet is assumed to be contaminated with N2/O2 and water. The plan is to start flowing 80K gas and monitor the contamination level. When the magnet reaches ~80K a decision will be made about how long to hold it there and if warming further is warranted or if it can be cooled down.
