The SHMS Q2 warm return valve position module faulted and was placed in manual mode. The magnet was isolated during the recovery process over the weekend. The warm return was manually opened this morning and recovery of the magnet has begun. Expect to have Q2 back on cold return today.

All,
Following the trip on 11/25, the Hall C SHMS Q2 remained at or below 6K for several hours. Since then, all other magnets (SHMS and HMS) have been cooled and are holding liquid. The SHMS Q2 has warmed to over 40K. Is this the intention of Hall C personnel? I want to verify that recovering the magnets at this point is not limited by ESR or cryo. Please advise.
