[Esr-users] Contacting Cryo Procedures

Folks,
I do not think it is necessary to send an e-mail to esr-users at jlab.org or to notify cryo for normal operations of magnets or targets (emptying or filling).

What is needed is notification (in advance if possible) for significant changes. This was what I made this list for.

Examples of things to send to esr-users at jlab.org are:
Hall A or C target cooldown
Magnet Trip due to a cryogenic issue, like high return pressure (warm or cold), or lack of 4K supply pressure.
Magnet quench.
Issues with ESR or CHL that prevent full capacity, such as CHL trip that limits CHL from supporting ESR loads.
IOC issue that disrupts operation of things like a buffer dewar (as happened this past Friday in Hall B)

Thanks
Dave Kashy

Hi Dan

Sorry I missed your call.

I believe we have to inform cryo both via the Cryo names on the board in the counting room and also inform cryo and other ESR users via the esr users email list. And we normally try and give them at least an hours notice.

Dave, Denny

Is this correct? Can you add Dan, Raffaella and Eugene to the esr users group list if they have not been added yet?

Regards

Ruben
