The lab has now moved us to HPC-2 and are now preparing for bad weather.
Since we are already not running beam we are asking that the Halls not
make any significant load changes such as charging Hall magnets or
performing quench testing. This places higher demands on the ESR plant
and raises the chances of a turbine shutdown. We are trying to stabilize
the loads on the ESR so that we can shutdown the transferline and
segregate the plants for added protection. If during the testing the ESR
turbines or compressors are accidentally shut down it will be difficult
with the manpower we have and the time remaining to recover all of the
magnets and Halls before the bad weather arrives.

Please call me if there are any concerns or if you would need to discuss
specific high value needs that cant wait.

Thank you.
