All,

Hall A is ramping up all the magnets on the right spectrometer to 3.1 GeV. This momentum requires us to ramp the right dipole to around 1140 amps. I don't anticipate any problems but this current is higher than previous settings for this magnet. I called Chris and ask him to let me know if the higher current creates additional stress on ESR; if this happens we will back off and reassess. I estimate that the magnet will reach 1140 amps around 5pm.
